Three years ago, I had just started my work in the Real Estate area, and I had to develop a construction project in an available urban site in the city of ViƱa del Mar. At that time, the building project alternatives for this site were varied, so I talked about with managers of four companies that they had good experience in this city, and I invited them to participate in the development, considering that I will choose the project that I find most interesting. As a first approach I asked them to show me some project ideas they would have for this site.
During the two weeks after my request, I received the information with suggestions on what they considered appropriate for the site, and curiously all four companies offered me the construction of three 15 floors buildings. I thought ,the propositions are perhaps neither the best nor the worst , but acceptable.
After that, I decided to choose the partner based on the design and the lower costs offered, so I sent them an email requesting the information. While I was sending the emails to this companies , I included erroneously an address of another Real Estate Company, which replied me very quickly and they told me they were happy for the message, and this company sent me a new idea of the project, which involved the construction of two 25 floors buildings , with the same total housing density and more extensive surface areas between buildings.
I was impressed, and finally, due to the wrong email input ,I chose this company as the partner to develop the project. Fortunately, with great sales success.
